This pic was a birthday-Giftmas present combination for my wonderful friend Stariceling. Tantei Gakuen Q is her all-time favorite series, and Ryuu/Megu/Kyuu is her OT3, so I simply had to draw them for her. <3
This is also my first digital painting. The pic was created entirely in Photoshop, from original sketch to final tweaks. I must give thanks to my other wonderful friend, Anti_Paragon, for helping me so much with advice, tutorial links, and her wonderful artistic betas! This pic took 6 months from start to finish, as I have almost no spare time thanks to my work, and I absolutely loathe painting detailed backgrounds. >< But Star-chan said it was worth the wait, so that makes me very happy. ^^ And look, I managed to paint a background!! XD |
